Clays profits from Rowling unmasking

JK Rowling may have been furious about her unmasking as 'first time author' Robert Galbraith last week, but book printers Clays St Ives will have been delighted.

It was the lucky company that picked up the print run for extra copies of the book, with some estimates suggesting as much as an initial 200,000 copies, with more certain to follow.

The firm couldn't discuss the size of the contract but it is certain that it is one of the most lucrative in the UK in recent years.

In more good news for book printers, the Christmas market is nearly upon us.
