As we draw closer to the end of 2016, it is hard not to think about what is in store for 2017 and that is especially true for the many sectors of the print industry. In our November issue of Print Monthly, John Nelson, commissioning editor at Smithers Pira, analyses the future of the production print sector and looks at how it has progressed over time (page 53).

Our main feature focus in this issue is In-line Print Finishing as we take a closer look at the state of the current market and what options are available on page 45.

We also delve into the web-to-print world and unveil the truth about the number of print companies that are taking advantage of this helpful tool. It seems the question that now needs answering is how to encourage new users of web-to-print into the sector—and perhaps next year we will be telling quite a different story.
