The industry is heating up

Take me straight to the latest magazine.

As we move into the summer months of the year, it is not just the weather that is warming up. The range of technology in the print industry is, as always, continuously developing. Printing houses across the UK are whirring with the sounds of busy printing presses, working to deliver a multitude of products needed over the summer months from large-format banners to flyers.

I got to grips with the digital print market myself in this issue (page 51). Having worked with Print Monthly for more than two years now, I have become aware of how quickly technology develops. Before this time, I am not certain I would have realised this fact to quite the same extent.

The range of technology in the print industry is, as always, continuously developing

Growing out of the digital print market have been many different sectors, from wide-format to specialty toner. The production runs now being carried out are so much more diverse than they once were, it takes a highly automated and intelligent machine to do the job.

With the ability to be flexible and fast in today’s market, digital printing machines can also have a surprisingly small footprint.

Do not just take my word for it though. I have pulled together the expert advice of Canon, Xerox, OKI, and Intelligent Finishing Systems in my feature. For the latest in digital print technology, look no further.
