Packaging is massively influential in retail. I do not know about you, but a well-designed wrapper or box goes a long way to making me want to buy something. Take an elegant box of chocolates, for example. Beautiful packaging is not only functional but adds so much to the finished product—which is what every brand needs nowadays.

Packaging is massively influential in retail. I do not know about you, but a well-designed wrapper or box goes a long way to making me want to buy something. Take an elegant box of chocolates, for example. Beautiful packaging is not only functional but adds so much to the finished product—which is what every brand needs nowadays.

Reports into this area of the market suggest that the demand for packaging is only going to increase as the years go on. So, have you thought about branching out?

I spoke to a handful of manufacturers which have just the technology you need to get started in producing packaging as well as some really helpful tips. One piece of advice is to start small, investigate the market, and build up an offering based on existing skills. For more, go to page 51.
