John Brailsford Printers also recently extended its premises in Rotherham

The Rotherham firm has installed a Xerox Versant 2100 high definition colour press and a fully configured D136 mono press. The Versant can print at speeds of up to 100ppm in colour on all stocks up to 350gsm, while the D136 is a black and white that can hit speeds of 136ppm.

The high specification of the Xerox devices is very important to our workflow

Both devices, supplied by Xerox UK, will be complemented by the new Schneider Senator E78 guillotine. The device features a power cutting control system and interfaced touch screen.

John Brailsford, director of the company that first opened its doors in 1986, says: “The high specification of the Xerox devices is very important to our workflow, our product mix and customers print requirements mean we could require wire bound punching for one job and square back perfect binding for the next or just simple stapling or folding, the Xerox specification gives us the flexibility to handle every job inline without further operator intervention.”
