Under the agreement, Komori International Europe will work in partnership with the Screen GP Europe division in an effort to replicate a similar working relationship that began in the North American market last September.

“Following the collaboration agreement in North America in September 2015, this is a great opportunity for both Komori and Screen GP,” comments Kazunori Saitoh, director and managing operating officer, group general manager, global sales and service group of Komori.

“But more importantly, we know our European customers will benefit from the combined expertise of our two companies”.

The deal will include distribution agreements in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and UK, with Komori Europe to serve as the sole distributor for Screen GP’s Truepress Jet520HD high-speed, roll type inkjet press.

In addition, Screen GP Europe will use its expertise in digital printing to provide comprehensive support for Komori Europe.

Tsuneo Baba, president of Screen Graphic and Precision Solutions Co. adds: “We have long believed that combining the technical and marketing capabilities of our two companies would provide an ideal approach to expanding our respective product shares within the printing industry.

“As a first step, in 2015, we created a formal collaborative relationship with Komori Corporation in the North American market and we now expand this established relationship to Europe.

“We are confident commercial printers will see the true value of a combined organisation that is focused on their success.”
