Focus Label Machinery has built its reputation on helping customers achieve specific objectives with increasing the flexibility, productivity, and consistency of their production systems

James Thomas, business development and marketing manager at the firm comments: “Sercoyse have a long established mechanical and electrical engineering business with a breadth of knowledge in the narrow web, offset, packaging and labels market place with their own installation, service and support of machinery alongside representation and sales of partner products and consumables.

“The partnership will prove beneficial to existing clients and those considering investing in the latest equipment from Focus looking for local technical support. Moving forward we are seeing potential and appetite for the latest technology in the region and Focus are well placed with a number of platforms for specific industrial applications in print covering flexo, digital & hybrid technologies.”

Focus managing director, David Lee, adds: “I am confident our new representatives, with their wealth of industry knowledge, will be invaluable in advancing our growth within the European territories, and we look forward to welcoming more clients to the ever-increasing Focus family”.

In other good news for Focus, Acorn Labels has invested in a new e-Flex 430mm narrow web press from the company. The press was installed in April 2018 with the aim of offering increased productivity.

Sam Heneker, production manager for Acorn Labels, comments on the installation and production output so far: “The Focus team, from first meeting, design conception through to installation and training, worked hard to support our ideas. The press so far has been a game-changer for us and we have been able to up production speeds quite easily by over 20 percent - this will grow as we bed the press in further.”

Focus’s Thomas adds: “The project was ideal for Focus as Acorn Labels were very open to working as a partnership for the long-term and we could design and build the e-Flex to their exact specifications.”
