Renz and Argos prepare for launch at Print Show

Renz and Argos Solutions have confirmed they will use this year’s edition of The Print Show to launch a new coating machine that they say offers the glossiest UV coating finish available on the market.

The F400 HD Cold UV Coater features a LED UV lamp sleep mode function to help users to save energy

The F400 HD Cold UV Coater high definition solution was designed and built by Argos in Belgium. The device uses just two grams of coating per square metre, compared to other machine that often use 10 grams per square metre or above.

Renz and Argos also highlight how the LED UV lamp sleep mode function will help users to save on energy use.

Paul Simpson, sales manager at Renz, comments: “Argos Solutions have entered new territory with this new HD machine and the results are seriously impressive. It has all the features of previous Argos UV coaters, namely cold curing technology and very low cost per page, however this new HD gloss finish puts this machine in a league of its own.

“There’s never been a better time to invest in UV coating. Not only are the running costs substantially cheaper than plastic lamination, there’s also the added benefit of a plastic free finish.”

The Print Show has been a big success story and we are proud to support the show again this year

Also due to appear on the Renz stand this September are the Punch 500 and Mobi 500, as well as desktop punching and binding equipment for book and calendar work.

Iain Bullock, managing director of Renz UK, adds: “The Print Show has been a big success story and we are proud to support the show again this year.

“The organisers have done a fantastic job assembling the largest names in print and making it an event that can’t be missed regardless of the size of printers.”
