As a well-respected brand with a wealth of experience in the digital printing systems and reprographics markets, Bristol-based X-Press On Demand is raring to go at this year’s Print Show on stand B09.

X-Press On Demand will be bringing finishing equipment capable of foiling effects

Richard Bridle, director of operations at DTP Associates, the parent company of X-Press On Demand, told me all about why they decided to return to the show, what they are going to bring in terms of technology, and also what they are hoping to achieve by attending this third-time exhibition.

He explains: “As a nationwide supplier based in Bristol we wanted to make our product more accessible to businesses from all reaches of the UK. Having a show located quite centrally in the country, which is heavily focused on our core industry, makes The Print Show the ideal choice. Along with this, we have already done the first two Print Shows and had great success with our products. These factors made it an easy decision for us.”

Bridle goes on to highlight the equipment the company will be bringing to the show that will help printers looking to succeed in areas such as garment printing and producing special effects.

He says: “We will be bringing our latest affordable digital presses and finishing equipment. In addition to the equipment we brought last year, we will have solutions to print onto garments as well as our own brand new FXPRO solution for foiling. The FXPRO is an amazing value machine that can not only foil/gloss coat onto areas of toner but can also act as a full double-sided laminator.”

We will showcase our latest workflow software and provide some very special show offers

As well as equipment, X-Press On Demand continues to stride ahead of the pack with its X-Press Workflow. The company has identified areas in the process of producing a digitally printed job that can be streamlined to reduce the time taken to produce the job, which can, most importantly, increase profitability.

He continues: “As well as this we will showcase our latest workflow software and provide some very special show offers. Our latest workflow software now has the ability to auto number sheets in addition to all its other Imposition/Step and Repeat features. The latest finishing products that are making waves in the market are our automatic and semi-automatic creaser/perforators. There are simply no other products that offer the features at anywhere near our prices.”

The Print Show is not only the ideal place to showcase technology but also raise awareness of brands. Bridle agrees, revealing what X-Press On Demand hopes to achieve from the show: “We want to raise industry awareness of our products and sell as many of them on the stand as we can. Hopefully, the small- to medium-sized printing companies that make up the lion’s share of our customers will be there to see how they can have big budget features at affordable prices from the market leader.”

In conclusion, Bridle offers some words to visitors: “If you work in the print and sign industry and are interested in the direction the market is going in, how you can make better profits, and seeing equipment demonstrations and working machines, you will find no better place than The Print Show. It may just open your eyes to a new way of working or simply help you make more money.”
