Duplo swoops in for Print Show

The print finishing equipment manufacturer Duplo International has targeted The Print Show in September to make a series of offers to the trade.

Duplo will be demonstrating their DC-516 Cutter Creaser at The Print Show

At the centre of their exhibition stand will be several new products including their DC-516 Cutter Creaser, the PFI-2100 Binder and an updated iSaddle X Saddle Stitcher. In a statement the company says: “Visitors can discover how the new Duplo DC-516 Cutter Creaser, with its high feed capacity and it’s ‘Set and Forget’ functionality, can help reduce your business’ turnaround times.


“The new Cutter Creaser boasts productivity, precision and versatility, with up to 30 cuts, 30 creases and 10 slits and can crease up to 6,000 sheets per hour. The system can be configured to cut, crease, slit and perforate depending on your application, perfect for targeting key jobs that today maybe creating stress points in the production workflow. The new optional conveyor allows automatic batch separation while increasing productivity, making it ideal for cutting business cards.”


The updated iSaddle X Saddle Stitcher has extended the automation, added ‘intelligence’ as well as delivering greater application versatility. Duplo says these features ‘offer the ability to change the status quo and create new and exciting format sizes that will add value to your customers’.

The firm says there will also be Multigraf’s Multi-finishers on their stand at The Print Show which runs from September 18th to 20th at the NEC in Birmingham


Adding to this is Duplo’s new PFi Bind 2100 perfect binder aimed at printers who want to bring in-house short-run, digital on demand book binding to satisfy the growing self-publishing industry.


Also, on display will be their DuSense DDC-810 Sensory coater with its new barcode option. Duplo says the DuSense’s ‘ease of use, high accuracy, small footprint, and low cost of entry into the market’ reduces job turnaround times. Equipped with three high definition 600dpi heads, the coater handles up to 1,080 B3 sheets per hour, as well as handling heavy solids and fine detail in the same pass.
