Yorkshire-based Adare SEC, which provides secure and essential communication solutions, has taken delivery of three ComColor GD 9630s whilst Cornwall-based Paragon (Redruth), a supplier of outsourced communications print solutions, has also added three ComColor GS 9630s alongside an existing ComColor 9150.

Steve Davis, head of production at Adare says: “The RISO production printers produce full colour print communication at speed. Whilst not as fast as continuous feed systems, they are much easier to set up, making them more effective than continuous feed systems for our short run work. Having established that the RISO printers could be used to supplement output from continuous feed systems, it was an easy purchase decision.

Both Adare and Paragon Redruth are leading the way in what they do, and therefore need equipment that is reliable, cost-efficient, and capable of producing large volumes at high speed

“I am impressed with RISO's technology and with the strength of their support. The printers have proved to be versatile, cost effective and reliable. RISO’s technicians worked hard to ensure that they were integrated into our digital workflow and I would recommend RISO as a solution.”

Steve Rowson, head of operations at Paragon Redruth, says: “We are delighted with the new installation of the RISO Com Colour GD 9630’s, this new technology has allowed us to improve our internal production efficiencies, enhance colour output and final image quality for our customers.”

Dinis Cachao, who heads up RISO UK’s production print team, says: “Both Adare and Paragon Redruth are leading the way in what they do, and therefore need equipment that is reliable, cost-efficient, and capable of producing large volumes at high speed.

“Both have already been able to witness the many benefits of RISO printers, and the addition of the ComColor GDs is a natural progression, given that the GDs offer yet further improvements in speed and quality of output.”

He adds: “What many production print specialists are finding, is that by using a RISO, they are able to move more appropriate work away from the larger devices, releasing capacity. Adding a RISO to your arsenal of print solutions can be a very definite business benefit.”
