Kodak, Pareto Print and NCL extend their decade-long collaboration

The five-year strategic plan of Pareto Print marks the extension of a pre-existing collaboration that began nine years ago when the company was founded and chose to invest in Kodak prepress solutions including platesetters, plates and workflow software.

Having completed a full conversion in 2017, which saw the Russian book printing house move to over 900,000sq m of SONORA Process Free plates, Pareto Print now produces nearly seven million saddle-stitched, softcover and hardcover books monthly.

“From the beginning, Pareto Print has succeeded because of our highly-skilled employees, process automation and by investing in the best technological solutions from global leaders like Kodak to benefit our customers,” says Paul Arseniev, Pareto Print’s chief executive officer, describing the company’s recent investment in Kodak’s newest generation plate, SONORA X, as a “testament to its ongoing commitment.”

We look forward to extending our decade-long collaboration to support their ongoing mission to be one of the most high-tech and environmentally friendly Russian print service providers

Working alongside its Russia market trade partner NCL, Pareto Print holds an 18% market share in the Russian book market and has recently expanded its offerings to neighbouring countries such as Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Ekaterina Makeicheva, general manager of NCL comments: “Pareto Print has been a true leader in Russia’s print industry. They have combined investments in innovative print technology with a world-class team of print specialists to deliver outstanding service to printers in Russia and now across Europe.

“We look forward to extending our decade-long collaboration to support their ongoing mission to be one of the most high-tech and environmentally friendly Russian print service providers.”
