Studio W2P from Scodix aims to automate digital enhancement processes

Studio W2P uses automated workflow to help large web-to-print companies globally improve productivity and efficiency.

Recognising the potential for value increase through the digital enhancement of products, Scodix developed the software to allow for automated digital enhancement on all web-to-print jobs.

Scodix hopes features such as this will provide users with the opportunity to enter new markets and gain profit in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors.

The firm’s launch of new solutions has been met with a positive response as it prepares to roll out multiple systems for online photo printing service, Shutterfly, across the U.S.

The Association for Print Technologies predicts a compound annual growth rate in the sector of 5.7% until 2023, so there’s clear opportunity for our customers to leverage

Jason Rollo, president of Scodix North America says: “Shutterfly is an important name in the world of web-to-print and it is exciting to see the company implement Scodix technology for its wide range of customers.

“Effectively, it is the perfect time to invest in the technology – adding great value to print, inexpensively – in a competitive market, and we’re delighted to partner with Shutterfly.”

Commenting on current market conditions, Adina Shorr, chief executive officer of Scodix, adds: “We see web-to-print as a key market for Scodix.

“The Association for Print Technologies predicts a compound annual growth rate in the sector of 5.7% until 2023, so there’s clear opportunity for our customers to leverage.”
