Power of Print seminar returns to Stationers’ Hall

Two Sides, which organises the event, has revealed the speakers set to take to the stage at the annual Power of Print seminar.

This year, the event will play host to a range of experts, exploring the challenges, innovations and opportunities for print and paper in today’s diverse media landscape.

From the industry, speakers will include Charles Jarrold of the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF); Edwin Goffard of Smurfit Kappa; and Jonathan Tame and Martyn Eustace of Two Sides Europe.

Canon’s invited speaker this year is Rory Sutherland, vice chairman of agency Ogilvy, who will be discussing why print is more trustworthy than pixels.

In an increasingly digital world, it is important to remind brands and agencies of the power and effectiveness of print

Other speakers include representatives from content agency Archant Dialogue; newspaper consultancy Innovation Media Consulting; Index on Censorship; University College London; media agency Wavemaker; Waitrose; and the Data & Marketing Association.

Jonathan Tame, managing director at Two Sides, comments: “In an increasingly digital world, it is important to remind brands and agencies of the power and effectiveness of print – physically engaging and putting your brand into the consumers hands.”

Following the day’s seminar talks, guests are invited to a drinks reception followed by an informal three-course dinner, sponsored by Fedrigoni. This year’s after-dinner speaker is Ted Young, editor of Metro.

Power of Print seminar takes place at Stationers’ Hall, London, on November 5th, 2019 from 9.20am until 5.30pm, with dinner running until 10pm. Members of Two Sides and/or the BPIF are entitled to a 20% discount on all ticket types.
