Elliott Baxter (EBB) has entered into a new partnership with paper giant Sappi in order to ensure it can continue to meet customer demand.

The new supplier deal will come into effect in the New Year

From January, EBB will be able to provide its own customers with Sappi’s range of coated papers.

Sappi will be the sole supplier to EBB of GalerieArt, a coated paper manufactured at Sappi paper mills across Europe—primarily the Gratkorn Mill site in Austria.

In a statement, EBB says: “In a changing market with many European mills under threat of closure or conversion to other fibre based products it was very important to EBB to secure long term sustainable supply. EBB…believes the unique deal with SAPPI will deliver for both parties.

“Surety and availability of supply in the short- to mid-term are of paramount importance to EBB and its customers and our ability to reliably supply customers is based on the reliability of our supply chain.”
