Tim Boore recently took on his new role as digital sales consultant at CMYUK

William Smith Group 1832 is among this group and has named Steve Laundon as its new national sales manager.

Laundon—who has experience in merchant banking, regulatory services and commercial print—will help the material supplier develop and grow, as well as seek out new solutions for customers’ vinyl needs.

Elsewhere, CMYUK has brought in Tim Boore as digital sales consultant. Boore boasts a wealth of knowledge and experience in digital print production, having spent 19 years with Image Factory, including a spell as head of digital.

Commenting on the appointment, CMYUK managing director Robin East says: “To develop long-term strategic partnerships with customers, you have to understand how they think, their challenges and give them technology solutions that are aligned to their future business strategy. Tim is the perfect individual to deliver that approach.”

Friedheim has also moved to enhance its sales team by appointing John Harrison as national sales manager for its converting division.

Harrison enjoyed a previous spell at the Friedheim and will re-join the finishing specialist, bringing with him plenty of experience from within both the carton and corrugated markets.

Also bolstering sales efforts is Dantex, a manufacturer of label processing kit, which has named Lee Deyes as technical sales representative.

Deyes, who will be responsible for the eastern UK counties, previously worked for Harlands of Hull, Jarvis Porter, Sericol and, most recently, Edale UK.

I look forward to the challenges ahead of me and am delighted to be working in such an evolving and innovative industry that has so much to offer

Away from sales and imageData Group, a specialist in barcoded variable data, has appointed Darren Moulds as is new marketing manager. Moulds boasts more than 16 years of marketing experience across both B2B and D2C channels.

Speaking about his new role, Moulds says: “I look forward to the challenges ahead of me and am delighted to be working in such an evolving and innovative industry that has so much to offer.

“I can already see that imageData has the potential to grow as a business as it works hard to understand the needs of its customers.”
