Canon celebrates its only gold partner

Canon and digital document solutions specialist Alternative, its only UK gold partner, are celebrating their 25-year partnership.

Having refreshed its partner programme in 2018, Alternative is the only UK-based Canon partner to achieve gold – the highest level of accreditation – in Professional Print Graphic Arts and in-house Professional Print.

The London-based company became a Canon Plus accredited dealer in 1999 and went on to become a European premier partner in 2008 before achieving platinum in 2018.

Alternative provides managed print services, as well as supplying production print solutions for global brands and large corporates down to SMEs and local businesses, across a number of sectors.

“Canon has supported and nurtured our growth aspirations as we have risen to achieve new levels of accreditation,” says Dave Allen, sales director at Alternative. “Together we have established a winning formula by combining market leading products with exceptional customer service, to deliver unbeatable results.”

By providing the channel with a diverse portfolio, partners can be empowered to drive their business forward

James Pittick, director of B2B indirect sales at Canon UK adds: “As our only partner awarded gold in Pro Print Graphic Arts and in-house Professional Print, our relationship with Alternative is unique and highlights the value we place in investing in our partners.

“By providing the channel with a diverse portfolio, partners can be empowered to drive their business forward, stand out from the competition, and support customers’ evolving needs as Alternative continues to demonstrate.

He continues: “Alternative’s expertise and distinctive level of accreditation, partnered with its holistic approach to delivery, means our customers receive exceptional service and best-in class solutions.

“Alternative is a key partner for our Professional Print strategy, and we are looking forward to building on our shared success in the years ahead.”
